Care of Your New Spray Tan

After your Spray Tanning session, clothing must be loose and dark in color. NO JEANS or fitted shoes!! Avoid all light colored clothing after your tan, until you have showered. The bronzer will rub off on your clothes but should be easily washed out. Nylon, silk, spandex and wool tend to absorb the bronzer, so please avoid these fabrics. Clothing that is too tight and rubs the new tan within the first few hours; this can alter the outcome of your tan. A loose fitting sundress darker in color is the perfect after tan garment. The Beautiful Bronzed Glow you have been waiting for takes 8-10 hours to completely develop. Be patient you will love the results!

*To ensure the life of the tan, avoid any contact with water for at least 8 hours after the appointment.

** However, if you select a Rapid Tan, you may shower between 1-4 hours after your spray tan session, depending on the color you want to achieve.

After every shower, apply a great moisturizer within the first week. This is essential to enhance the longevity of the tan. Avoid any exfoliates and harsh loofahs etc. Avoid all Dove products. Also, avoid long hot showers, baths or Jacuzzi soaks. Excessive swimming can fade your spray tan faster. If you have swimming in your plans, please apply a waterproof sun block. The sun block usually protects the life of your spray tan when in water.

*Sunscreen must be applied when in the sun. Your spray tan is not a sunscreen or sun protectants. There is a misconception that a spray tan gives you a base color, this is false!

Your new just off the beach tan can last between 7 to 10 days depending on your before and after care. Following all the before and after care instructions, will help ensure the longevity of your new Beautiful Beach Tan!
